Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

These Terms govern your use of LocalAudit (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by them.

1. The Service

LocalAudit aggregates publicly available information about local businesses and grades the quality of their websites, to help freelance web designers identify prospective clients. The Service is provided as-is, on a subscription or free-tier basis.

2. Accounts

You need a Google account to sign in. You are responsible for the activity on your account. Don't share access credentials with people outside your subscription.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

4. Plans, billing, and trials

5. Refunds & money-back guarantee

If you're not satisfied with Pro within the first 30 days of your first paid month, email us at [email protected] for a full refund. After 30 days, subscriptions are non-refundable for partial periods, but you can cancel anytime to stop future charges.

6. Lead data

Business listings shown in LocalAudit come from public sources (primarily the Google Places API). We make no warranty about completeness or accuracy. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws when contacting businesses surfaced by the Service.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, and brand, is owned by LocalAudit. AI-generated outputs (audit reports, briefs, prototypes) are licensed to you for unrestricted use in your own client work. Public business data shown in the app is not exclusive to us and is not transferred to you as a dataset.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or fail to pay. You may close your account anytime; on closure, your data is handled per the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that leads will convert, that AI outputs are error-free, or that the Service will be uninterrupted.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalAudit's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are announced by email to paid subscribers at least 14 days before they take effect.
